TranIt
TranIt is a training tool for practicing spoken translation.
You don't need to come up with topics yourself — you use ready-made texts and train your ability to quickly understand meaning and immediately express it in another language. This helps build fluency and confidence in different speaking situations. Suitable for any level.
The text is split into sentences. You translate them one by one, revealing each translation by pressing Check or using Space, →, or Enter.
If you use a link, the text is extracted automatically, but may include extra elements such as headings or navigation.
Simple — text is simplified first, then translated.
Original — direct translation of the original text.
Academic — text is rewritten in a more formal style, then translated.
You can choose up to three variants for each sentence.
This helps you see different ways of expressing the same idea.
During training you can save individual words and expressions.
At the end of a session, you will see the full text with saved fragments highlighted for review.
The timer shows session duration.
Tap it to stop and see your current speed (words per minute).
Reference: around 120 words per minute is a good level for simultaneous interpretation.
If you switch between sentences quickly, translations may load with a slight delay, especially for long texts. This is normal — processing happens progressively.
Some inaccuracies may occur (for example with pronouns or complex grammar structures).
If something does not work correctly or you have ideas for improvement, please send feedback via the feedback form.
